We understand that every young person possesses unique talents and passions. To cultivate these distinct strengths, our curriculum boasts an impressive suite of up to 15 specialised pathways. These choices allow pupils to explore diverse industries, discover new hobbies, or spark potential career interests. 

Our industry-relevant pathways include: 

• Health & Physical Wellbeing: Gym Instruction, Coaching and Leisure, and Outdoor Pursuits. 

• Creativity & Expression: Music Production, Therapeutic Art, and Digital Creativity. 

• Trade & Sustainability: Woodwork, Construction, Gardening, and Learning in the Outdoors. 

• Innovation & Life Skills: Cooking, STEM, Enterprise, and our dedicated Resilience Workshop. 

Driven by pupil voice, each individual has the autonomy to choose their own "pathways bundle." This personal investment ensures that our young people are deeply engaged in their learning, taking ownership of their education from the very start. 

Developing Integral Skills for Life and Work 

Our vocational curriculum is intentionally designed and delivered to offer a highly flexible and innovative approach to education. Beyond the specific trade or technical skills learned, each pathway focuses heavily on developing a core set of integral skills that are vital for lifelong success. 

Through daily practical challenges, pupils actively develop:

Pupils work toward comprehensive qualification packages centred around Skills for Life and Skills for Work, spanning from Entry Level right through to Level 2. To ensure the highest standard of delivery and industry recognition, we collaborate with a network of valued, experienced external providers to offer a rich range of subject-specific qualifications.
