Dosbarth Mesen is a vibrant Foundation Phase class where curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning are at the heart of everything we do. The children love exploring the world through cooking a variety of cuisines, from flavourful curries and homemade pizzas to healthy treats like colourful fruit kebabs. Our classroom is filled with exciting enhanced learning areas, including construction, art, and messy play with sand and water, alongside calmer spaces for reading and relaxing in the calm area. The pupils learn best by doing, so we provide plenty of practical, hands-on experiences both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor learning is a big part of our week, and through Forest Schools the children develop confidence, independence and a love of nature while building important skills in a fun and engaging way.
